In-Depth Study Material

These courses are full of both doctrinal teaching from scripture and practical applications for the ministry. Many of our students have testified that they learned from these three courses as much as or even more than they did in a four-year Bible college degree program (or even seminary)!

Even though our courses are not secularly accredited, we share that kind of testimony to let you know what you will be receiving. Dr. Kostelnik has taught similar courses, which were priced at several thousand dollars per course, for other schools like International Seminary.  He was an adjunct professor with them for over 15 years, and remains a representative for their programs if you are interested in formal degree programs (email him if so!).

But, with PVI, you are getting our in-depth, college-level teaching online and free of charge from us!

While we give suggested study times for each course, you are welcome to work at your own pace--there is no time limit! Our only requirement is you spend a minimum of one week on a course before moving on to the next one.

Free Online

Our primary option is to give you online access to our courses, without charge. We now make them available exclusively as Portable Document Format (PDF) files. PDFs allow us to put online the same course that we make available in printed format. Almost all modern devices come with some program or app to view PDFs. If you do not have one, you might consider a free option such as Foxit or Adobe Acrobat Reader (found via a simple web search).

This also makes it easier for students to download the course for offline viewing and/or printing; giving you, the student, the ability to print only certain pages, or go directly to the last page you read.  Many PDF viewers also have accessibility features to read aloud written text, if you prefer to listen to the material rather than reading.

Printed Material Available

Our secondary option is to send printed courses to you via postal mail. As this entails more costs than the online option, we recommend this as a backup option, if you do not have regular, reliable or inexpensive Internet access.  But, remember the online PDF option is a simple download of only a few megabytes, and it can be stored on any mobile devices or computers you have; so it can work best for most students.

There is a fee of US$25 for the printed versions of the courses, to cover our costs of printing, materials, packaging and postage, but we also offer partial or full scholarships to those who truly cannot afford to pay the small fee.

The vast majority of our correspondence students do not pay for the courses, as they often come from third-world countries, live on small fixed-incomes, or may even be studying from prison. This is to let you know that we receive almost no support from our students as we provide this material freely to all who request it.

Regardless of which method you choose, we pray that God will bless your mind as you read, granting you everything you need to absorb the wealth of His Word, as you study these courses!

This first course covers ten basic doctrines of the Christian faith, and then builds on these through the ten Discipleship lessons, which show one how to put the doctrines and beliefs into practice, according to the Word of God (formerly The Gospel Truth).

For those already in the faith for many years, please don't be offended that we require you to start with our Discipleship course--we've found it's best to ensure the core fundamentals of the faith are given first. Not everywhere teaches the same things, or in the same ways. We trust you'll learn things from scripture that you haven't yet (such as the true identity of the "sword of the Spirit" that is taught hardly anywhere else)!

This second course covers the God-ordained ministry as a whole, the specific biblical office of deacon, and also includes other volumes aimed at encouraging the lay Christian who desires to do their part as a believer in the local church and as a Spirit-filled believer.

Getting a solid foundation in what God has gifted to His church will allow you to fully walk into His callings upon your life!

This third and final course covers the specifics of the ministry of Christ, including a study of the five-fold ministry, what is required of the minister, how to effectively live out the call God has put on the minister's life, and the blessed gift of the Lord's Supper.

If you are called to full-time ministry, we highly encourage you to study all the way through and to this course!  You'll find each office detailed, as well as practical teaching related to what you can and will experience in your day-to-day and life-long calling.

In 2017, we began live video streaming our local church services on Facebook, and eventually archiving them onto YouTube--if you cannot attend a local church, or simply would like to receive and join in regular worship & teaching from God, we invite you to join us anytime!  For Facebook, we live stream most of the service and trim it to just the message/sermon once the service is over. For YouTube, we keep the entire service archived, as YT offers much higher audio and video quality.
